Annual Compensation: $64,680–$89,552
Based on experience and includes holiday pay.

Work schedule: 12-hour shifts with 84-hour pay periods and every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.
Paid time off: 13 paid leave days annually, plus vacation and sick leave.
School enrollment: Opportunity to enroll your children in Alabaster City Schools, even if you live outside the city.
Retirement: Tier 1 Retirement Systems of Alabama benefits at retirement.
Insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama medical, dental, and vision coverage, with the City paying 90% of the premium. VSP vision insurance 100% paid by the city.
Additional coverage: City-paid life insurance and supplemental insurance options.
Equipment and uniforms: Take-home vehicle and $900 annual uniform allowance.
Retiree medical coverage: City contribution of 65%–75% toward premiums.
